A field guide to pricing pages.

The Pricing Atlas is a reference library of the pages where leading SaaS companies turn products into revenue. Every page is captured full-length at desktop width, so you see the whole argument a company makes, from the hero to the FAQ, exactly as a buyer would.

Each capture carries a read of the page by our in-house strategist and a set of annotations pinned to the screenshot. Filled notes mark practices worth borrowing. Outlined notes go under the hood: what a choice reveals about how the company prices.

How does Orb pricing work?

The value metric is a credit that wraps several meters. The FAQ states it plainly: 'Credits are consumed based on dimensions like billings processed, events ingested, and other meters dependent on available features in your plan.' Billings are 'the total value of all invoices' issued through Orb, and an event is 'a raw data record ingested into Orb'. At $6.00 per credit and 0.60% of billing volume, one credit covers roughly $1,000 of billings at list price. Packaging is two plans gated by capability: Business carries the billing engine, Orb Invoicing and A/R aging, Adyen and Stripe payments and finance and tax integrations, and Enterprise opens with 'Everything in Business' and adds customer hierarchies and divisional billing, collections automation, NetSuite and Salesforce, a 99.9% availability SLA, data exports and custom RBAC roles and audit logs.

What does Orb's pricing page do well?

  • A printed per-credit price with the volume path stated on the card: 'PER CREDIT, OR LESS WITH VOLUME DISCOUNTS'
  • The FAQ converts one credit into its meters, 0.60% of billing volume plus event ingestion and other metered dimensions
  • 100 free credits give a new Business customer room to ingest events before buying a block
  • Enterprise opens with 'Everything in Business', so the card lists only the delta
  • Add-on cells in the matrix mark premium SLAs as purchasable extras on Enterprise

What does Orb's pricing page reveal about its pricing strategy?

  • Pricing the credit as a share of billing volume ties Orb's revenue to its customers' invoiced revenue
  • One credit consumed across billings, events and feature meters points to a rate table behind a prepaid balance
  • Volume discounts on the credit price give larger buyers a path to a lower unit rate before a custom contract
  • A support bundle sold as an add-on separates service cost from platform value on Enterprise
  • NetSuite, Salesforce and revenue reports gate Enterprise, so the upgrade follows the complexity of a customer's finance stack
