A field guide to pricing pages.

The Pricing Atlas is a reference library of the pages where leading SaaS companies turn products into revenue. Every page is captured full-length at desktop width, so you see the whole argument a company makes, from the hero to the FAQ, exactly as a buyer would.

Each capture carries a read of the page by our in-house strategist and a set of annotations pinned to the screenshot. Filled notes mark practices worth borrowing. Outlined notes go under the hood: what a choice reveals about how the company prices.

How does Adyen pricing work?

The value metric is the transaction, priced in two parts and stated in one sentence at the top: 'For each transaction, we charge a fixed processing fee + a fee determined by the payment method.' The hero card shows the formula, a 'Processing fee' of '$0.13' plus a 'Payment method fee' that cycles through 'Interchange+ + 0.60%', '€ 0.22', '3.95%' and 'Defined by card used'. There are no plans to choose between. 'No setup fee' and 'Pay per transaction, with no setup or monthly fees' make the transaction the whole bill for payment processing, and the intro notes that 'Other Adyen products, besides payment methods, are priced separately', which keeps this page focused on acceptance.

What does Adyen's pricing page do well?

  • The whole tariff is stated in one sentence at the top, 'a fixed processing fee + a fee determined by the payment method', and the hero card shows the formula with live examples
  • The Payment / Refund switch publishes what each method costs to refund as well as to accept
  • Per-method fees are printed with shopper country for more than a hundred methods, so a merchant expanding into a new market can read the local cost, such as BLIK at '1.5%'
  • Search, Location and Region filters cut a long table down to the methods a merchant sells through
  • 'Pay per transaction, with no setup or monthly fees' settles the platform-fee question before the rate sheet opens

What does Adyen's pricing page reveal about its pricing strategy?

  • Interchange++ separates pass-through network costs from Adyen's own markup of '$0.13' plus '0.60%' on cards
  • A single fixed processing fee on every row makes the method fee the variable that changes by market
  • Volume-based, direct-contract and 'More information' rows mark where pricing moves into a negotiated or partner-set deal, and the table shifts methods between printed and partner-set fees as terms settle
  • 'Other Adyen products, besides payment methods, are priced separately' points to a modular catalog where risk, issuing and other products each carry their own price
  • Fees quoted in local currency, from 'IDR 9,000.00' to 'SEK 2', reflect a processor built for global acquiring
