A field guide to pricing pages.

The Pricing Atlas is a reference library of the pages where leading SaaS companies turn products into revenue. Every page is captured full-length at desktop width, so you see the whole argument a company makes, from the hero to the FAQ, exactly as a buyer would.

Each capture carries a read of the page by our in-house strategist and a set of annotations pinned to the screenshot. Filled notes mark practices worth borrowing. Outlined notes go under the hood: what a choice reveals about how the company prices.

How does Sanity pricing work?

The model is seat plus consumption. Free is '$ 0 FOREVER' with 'Up to 20 user seats', '2 permission roles' and '2 datasets (public only)'. Growth is '$15 PER SEAT / MONTH' with 'Up to 50 user seats', '5 permission roles', '2 datasets (private or public)' and 'Pay-as-you-go for higher usage'. Enterprise is 'CUSTOM PRICING' with custom seats, roles, datasets and usage quota. The usage half is priced row by row: additional API CDN requests at '$1 PER 250K', API requests at '$1 PER 25K', assets at '$0.50 PER 1GB', bandwidth at '$0.30 PER 1GB', AI credits at '$0.05 PER AI CREDIT' and compute at '$1.00 PER 20K GB-SECONDS'. Seats fit the editors who work in the Studio, and usage fits the sites and apps that read content at scale, so a headless CMS serving both is priced on both.

What does Sanity's pricing page do well?

  • Growth carries 'WE RECOMMEND' and the one filled orange button, which sets the default plan clearly
  • The Growth card names the second meter with 'Pay-as-you-go for higher usage', so the seat price reads as a base
  • Every overage is priced in the table, such as '$1 PER 250K' CDN requests, '$0.30 PER 1GB' of bandwidth and '$0.05 PER AI CREDIT'
  • Add-ons are sold with exact contents: 'Increased quota' lists 50k documents, 5M API CDN requests, 1M API requests, 500GB bandwidth and 500GB assets for $299 a month
  • The plan bar carries Free, Growth and Enterprise with prices and CTAs through the long comparison table

What does Sanity's pricing page reveal about its pricing strategy?

  • Seat plus consumption: editors pay per seat, and the delivery workload pays per request, gigabyte and credit
  • Included quotas sit directly above their overage rates, a rate table attached to each plan
  • Datasets are priced as whole environments at $999 a month, which marks the path from Growth to Enterprise
  • AI credits, functions and compute are metered per organization on the same footing as infrastructure
  • Card payment on Free and Growth and invoicing on Enterprise split self-serve and contracted billing cleanly
